ACTSTRIP (c) 1992 Karl Schneider

ACTSTRIP is a program that strips activity from a particular
user (probably the SYSOP) from the ACTIVITY.00x file. This was
requested by a WC3 sysop who doesn't want his own log-ons included
in statistics, etc.
ACTSTRIP.EXE can be located anywhere in your PATH. It must be
RUN from your Wildcat 3.x Home directory (where the Activity log
files are).
Usage is simply:
actstrip 1 john doe
The 1 is for Node 1 - use 2 or any other existing node number,
the user name whose activity you want to remove from the activity
log is entered after the node #. It can be entered as above, or
as JOHN DOE or even John Doe.
ACTSTRIP does NOT ALTER your ACTIVITY.xxx file! It writes another one
called ACTNEW.00x. In the above example, it would be ACTNEW.001.
You can of course run this in a batch file and if you wish,
copy ACTNEW.xxx over your ACTIVITY.xxx file, etc.
I find this program useful; if you do too, a modest registration
to the above address will insure support for this program and cus-
tomization if desired, within reason. If you send $35 or more, you
will be considered registered for ALL the Wildcat 3.x utilities
I've written. That's less than ONE DOLLAR each! (see the enclosed
file listing for a summary of them)
Thanks!
